ABOUT DISTRICT
The district was created on 28 September 2011 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the name Panchsheel Nagar. Later, on 23 July 2012, it was officially renamed Hapur District. The district comprises three tehsils: Hapur, Dhaulana, and Garhmukteshwar.
